Aamir Khan has produced his son's film under his own banner, Aamir Khan Productions.Aamir Khan opened the advance bookings for his son Junaid's film 'Ek Din' quite early. However, media reports claim the film has received a very poor response. Trade analysts also feel there is no real excitement for the movie among the public.Trade reports on Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi's film 'Ek Din' are not looking good. They suggest the movie won't even cross the ₹1 crore mark on its opening day because tickets are simply not selling. The film's target audience, the youth, don't seem to be excited about it.On May 1, Junaid Khan's 'Ek Din' will compete with Riteish Deshmukh's 'Raja Shivaji' at the box office. 'Raja Shivaji', a Hindi-Marathi film on Chhatrapati Shivaji, is generating a massive buzz. It has already sold over 60,000 tickets and is expected to open with ₹10-15 crore.

Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan, has only been in two films before this: 'Maharaja' and 'Lovyapa'. 'Maharaja' had an OTT release and did fairly well. 'Lovyapa', on the other hand, was a complete disaster at the box office.
