Erdoğan Approves Renewal of OECD Istanbul Center Pact
(MENAFN) A presidential decree signed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan formally approving the renewal protocol of the memorandum of understanding between Türkiye and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development on the continued operation of the OECD Istanbul Center was published in the country's official gazette on Saturday.
The renewal protocol, inked in Paris on January 17, 2025, took effect retroactively as of January 13, 2025, and has now been formally entered into the official gazette following presidential ratification.
Under the terms of the renewed agreement, the memorandum of understanding remains fully binding and operational until January 13, 2026.
