Türkiye, UK Set to Strengthen Ties in London Talks
(MENAFN) Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is scheduled to hold talks with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper in London on Thursday during an official visit, according to diplomatic sources.
The meeting is expected to begin at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT), the sources said.
Following the discussions, both sides are expected to sign a Framework Document on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Türkiye and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, marking a formal step toward deeper bilateral cooperation.
During his visit, Fidan is also set to meet with members of the UK Parliament. In addition, he will hold separate engagements with Turkish citizens and members of the business community based in London, as part of broader outreach activities during the trip.
