Cloudy Spells, Light Rain Likely In Upper KP Districts: Met Office

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) According to the Meteorological Department, on Wednesday, the weather in most districts of the province will remain partly cloudy, while hot conditions are expected to persist in the plain areas.

In Chitral, Dir, Upper Swat, Bajaur, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, and North Waziristan, the weather may turn cloudy during the evening or night, with chances of light rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds at some places.

On Thursday as well, partly cloudy weather is expected across most parts of the province, while the plain areas will remain hot.

In Chitral, Dir, Swat, Buner, Bajaur, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, Abbottabad, Haripur, Khyber, Mohmand, Kurram, Orakzai, and North and South Waziristan, rain with thunder and strong winds is likely.

Similarly, light rain is expected at a few places in Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, and Dera Ismail Khan.

During the past 24 hours, the weather remained dry in most districts of the province, while hot conditions were recorded in the plain areas.
