How To Authenticate Specialised Employment Contracts In Qatar

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour Qatar (MoL) has issued guidelines on accessing its digital service for authenticating specialised employment contracts, aimed at meeting the needs of national talent and specialised professions.

In a social media post, the ministry stated that the service provides private sector entities with an integrated mechanism for the electronic authentication of employment contracts in line with Qatar's Labour Law.

It also allows for instant printing of the contract by the employer and the employee, enhancing transparency and safeguarding the rights of all parties.

The system is designed to be smart, flexible and innovative, enabling efficient management of employment and human resources.

The Ministry added that an attestation fee of 20QR will be charged for the service.

Accessing the service

Establishments can access the specialised employment contract authentication service through the Establishments Portal, using the National Authentication System (NAS ) for user verification. The identity of authorised personnel is confirmed via a smart card.

Entering contract details

To proceed, establishments must input the details of the specialised employment contract. Mandatory conditions include ensuring the worker's profession falls within the specialised contract categories and that the worker is licensed under the applying establishment.

Review and authentication

Once submitted, the Ministry of Labour reviews and formally authenticates the contracts. Upon approval, both employer and employee can instantly print the authenticated contract on payment of the fees online guideline can be found here
