Many organisations invest in EDI initiatives but still struggle to effectively support maternity transitions. This can impact retention, career progression and gender equity.
My work combines doctoral research, HR & OD leadership experience and lived experience as a mother of three. My PhD at Queen's Business School explored women's experience of maternity-related employment transitions within context and how these impacted career confidence and professional ambition.
Through Amba Consulting NI I support organisations and working parents with practical strategies, coaching and organisational insight to navigate maternity transitions more effectively.
I am a Chartered Member of the CIPD (MCIPD) and have extensive practical Human Resources management experience within Leadership and Organisational Development in the public sector.
