Wall Of Hope With Portraits Of Prisoners And Missing Soldiers Unveiled In Sarny, Rivne Region

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the announcement was made on Facebook by Sarny Mayor Ruslan Serpeninov.

“Today has become a special and deeply emotional day for our community. Symbolically, on Easter – when we celebrate the victory of life and faith – we, together with the families of our prisoners of war and missing persons, opened the Wall of Hope,” Serpeninov said.

According to the mayor, the community held extensive discussions and carefully considered the format of the memorial. Ultimately, it was decided to install it at the site of a former Soviet monument. It has now been transformed into a modern installation – a place where people can come to sit in silence, reflect, or pray.

“May every one of our defenders return home alive and unharmed,” the mayor emphasized.
