Lubinets To Appeal To UN And Red Cross Over Shooting Of Ukrainians During Ceasefire

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, he announced this on Telegram.

“This is a gross and cynical violation of international humanitarian law, in particular the Geneva Conventions. I am immediately sending letters to the ICRC and the UN regarding these crimes: the world must know that Russia systematically violates every possible rule of war and has turned terror into its tactic,” Lubinets wrote.

He clarified that, according to available information from open sources, the Russians carried out an assault on Ukrainian positions, resulting in four of our soldiers being taken prisoner. However, instead of complying with international humanitarian law, the occupiers shot the unarmed Ukrainians on the spot.

In addition, last night the Russians killed a Ukrainian evacuation group near Huliaypole in the Zaporizhzhia region. This occurred despite the so-called“ceasefire.”
