Moi Responds To Missile Interception Debris Incident In Muraikh, Four Injuries Reported
Doha, Qatar: As part of the ongoing monitoring of field developments, the Ministry of Interior confirmed that security authorities have responded to an incident resulting from the interception of Iranian missiles by Qatari air defence systems, which led to debris falling on a citizen's residence in the Muraikh area.
The incident resulted in four moderate injuries, including a Qatari child. The competent teams responded immediately, providing on-site assistance and transferring the injured to receive the necessary medical care. Limited material damage was also reported at the site.
The relevant authorities continue to operate in accordance with approved response plans, ensuring a rapid response to incidents, containment of their impact, and the enhancement of public safety.
The Ministry of Interior urges the public to adhere to issued instructions, refrain from gathering, approaching incident sites, or filming, and to allow ambulances, Civil Defence units, and security patrols to carry out their duties without obstruction.
The public is also advised not to approach any unknown objects or debris and to report them immediately by calling 999.
The Ministry further emphasizes the importance of obtaining information exclusively from official sources and avoiding the circulation of rumours or unverified information, due to their impact on public safety and ongoing field operations.
