He elaborated that this applies to mothers“who have children in public or private schools, and even those who have children in nurseries".
While the system aims to be inclusive, its implementation will be balanced with the operational needs of various government entities.
Departments have been granted the authority to determine which roles are considered“exceptional vital jobs” where remote work cannot be activated, and which jobs are suitable for the remote work system.
“Departments have been delegated to determine what are the exceptional vital jobs for which it is impossible for departments to activate the remote work system, and what are the jobs in which we can activate the remote work system,” Suhail clarified.
To ensure the smooth functioning of government services while accommodating the needs of working mothers, the implementation of the system will be closely monitored. Suhail noted that the matter is followed up weekly with the higher authority in each government department.
Furthermore, in organisational units with a limited number of employees, the system will be managed through a rotational schedule.“It is managed and organised, and it will be by rotation among the female employees,” Suhail explained.“There will be a rotation among the female employees to activate the remote work system by a certain percentage.”
