Umerov Meets Turkish Officials On Talks With Russia And Ukrainian Pows
In Ankara, the NSDC Secretary met with Defense Minister Yasar Güler, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Head of the National Intelligence Organization Ibrahim Kalin, and Erdogan's foreign policy advisor Akif Cagatay Kilic.
The parties discussed the security situation, the progress of the negotiation process, and coordination of further steps regarding common threats. They also discussed joint projects in the field of regional security.
“As always, special emphasis is placed on the humanitarian track. The issue of the return of Ukrainian prisoners of war and civilians remains our priority and is constantly on the agenda,” Umerov emphasized.
The parties coordinated their approaches to further cooperation. Turkey plays an important role as a partner and a platform for dialogue.

In particular, the head of the Ukrainian negotiating team, Umerov, is currently in Turkey.
On April 1, a video conference will be held with key negotiators from Ukraine and the United States, to be joined by President Volodymyr Zelensky and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
