Naftogaz Presents Plan To Rebuild Druzhba Oil Pipeline To European Partners
“Together with Deputy Head of the EU Delegation Gediminas Navickas, we met with the technical working group. Alongside the management of Ukrtransnafta, we provided partners with detailed information on the consequences of the Russian attack on the Druzhba pipeline infrastructure. We outlined the current situation and presented a comprehensive reconstruction plan. We also agreed on further joint steps,” Koretskyi wrote.
He noted that Naftogaz appreciates the EU's proposal to provide financial and technical assistance for restoring the infrastructure assets of the Brody pumping station in line with best European engineering and safety standards, as well as for preventing repeated attacks.

On January 27, Russian forces struck energy infrastructure in the Lviv region, halting the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline. According to First Deputy Prime Minister – Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal, a large portion of the pipeline's internal equipment was damaged in the resulting fire.
