De Havilland Canada Secures New Dash 8-400 Retrofit Contracts With Undisclosed Asia-Pacific Airline
Dhaka: De Havilland Canada has secured a new retrofit contract with an undisclosed Asia-Pacific airline as part of its Dash 8-400 retrofit program.
The deal covers three aircraft, which will undergo cabin and systems modernization before delivery in 2027 and 2028.
The announcement follows the recent delivery of two refitted Dash 8-400s.
The first turboprop joined Australian carrier Nexus Airlines under a leasing arrangement with TrueNoord.
The second one was taken on by Flytec, marking its debut as the type's first operator in Argentina, where it will support mining operations.
De Havilland also announced a contract with Asman Air for a reconfigured Dash 8-400, which will become the fourth of its type in the carrier's fleet. Delivery is expected before the end of the year.
