Thunderstorms To Hit Several Districts As Cold Night Grips Upper KP

Today, most parts of the province remained partly cloudy, while colder temperatures were felt in the higher areas during the night.

Chitral, Upper and Lower Dir, Buner, Malakand, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Mohmand, Bajaur, Khyber, Orakzai, Hangu, and North and South Waziristan may experience light to moderate rain with thunder and strong winds. Light snowfall is also expected on the higher mountains.

In Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, and Tank, light rain or drizzle is possible at some places.

In the plains of the province, strong or dusty winds may occur during the afternoon and evening.

Last night, light rain with thunder was recorded in Nowshera and Chitral.
