Kuwait Controls Fire At Fuel Tanks Belonging To Airport Following Strikes

Kuwait confirmed that fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport caught fire amid ongoing attacks.

The General Fire Force later announced that its teams had successfully controlled the blaze at the airport's fuel tanks, while other teams continued fighting a fire at the headquarters of the Public Institution for Social Security.

The Force's director of public relations and media, speaking to Kuwait's state news agency KUNA, said the firefighting efforts at the airport had not caused any significant injuries.

Earlier, KUNA reported that the teams were actively working to contain both fires and prevent them from spreading.
