Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior announced that relevant authorities are evacuating residents living in the vicinity of the US Embassy in Qatar as a temporary precautionary measure.

This was announced early morning on Thursday, March 5, 2026 in a post on social media.

The Ministry affirmed that this decision is within the framework of maintaining public safety.

“Suitable accommodation has been provided for them as part of necessary preventive measures,” the Ministry added, further encouraging the public to obtain information from official and reliable sources.
