Jordan, Oman Seek To Strengthen Agricultural, Trade Cooperation

Amman, March 2 (Petra)-- Minister of Agriculture Saeb Abdul Halim Khraisat, held talks on Monday with Oman's Ambassador to Jordan, Fahad Bin Abdul Rahman Alojaili, focused on expanding cooperation in agriculture and boosting bilateral trade.
During the meeting, Khraisat underscored the long-standing and close ties between Jordan and Oman, highlighting the need to translate these relations into stronger economic collaboration. He called for smoother movement of goods between the two countries, greater trade volumes, and closer coordination to tap into promising investment opportunities.
The minister also pointed to the competitive edge of Jordanian agricultural products and stressed the importance of sharing expertise, technology, and knowledge to support sector development.
Ambassador Alojaili reaffirmed Oman's commitment to strengthening joint efforts and advancing partnerships across multiple sectors, with particular emphasis on agriculture as a key area for future growth.
