Kuwait Air Force Intercepts Hostile Targets

KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense said on Sunday that the Air Force has intercepted several hostile targets with efficiency and effectiveness.
In a press statement to KUNA, the ministry's spokesman Col. Saud Al-Atwan said the targets were monitored and intercepted within the framework of operations in central Kuwait in the context of complete preparedness to protect the country's airspace.
He confirmed that no casualties were reported, reassuring that the Armed Forces would keep addressing any possible developments in order to ensure national security and stability. (end)
