Qatar Interior Ministry Bans Use Of Drones Until Further Notice

Doha: Qatar's Ministry of Interior announced a ban on the use, operation, or launching of drones of all types and sizes across the country until further notice.
In a statement, the ministry said the decision applies to citizens, residents, visitors, government and semi-government entities, companies and institutions.
The Ministry affirms that any use, attempted operation or facilitation of such aircraft constitutes a clear violation and will result in legal accountability and the necessary measures in accordance with applicable legislation.
The ministry also urged the public to remain at home and avoid going out except in cases of necessity, while adhering to official instructions issued by relevant authorities to maintain public safety.
