Stefanchuk Discusses Sanctions Against Russia, Security Guarantees With US Delegation To OSCE PA
Among the topics discussed were security guarantees, sanctions pressure on Russia, the role of the OSCE in strengthening the political accountability of the aggressor, the negotiation process, and the importance of actively involving the European Union in shaping sustainable solutions for peace.
The meeting also addressed the daily terror with which Russia is trying to break the will of Ukrainians, showing no readiness for peace and continuing to openly disregard international law.
Read also: Zelensky hopes next stage of peace talks will take place in FebruaryStefanchuk informed his colleagues about the results of his recent visit to the United States, the situation on the front line and in the rear, as well as the consequences of Russian strikes on civilian and critical infrastructure.
"I received clear assurances of continued bipartisan support for Ukraine," Stefanchuk noted following the meeting.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, in January the Permanent Council of the OSCE held a special session to consider the issue of Russia's massive missile and drone attacks on Ukraine.
