UAE Swat Challenge Kicks Off In Dubai How To Watch Elite Forces Compete Live

Elite special forces and tactical police units have gathered in Dubai to take part in competitions that test their operational readiness, as the seventh edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge kicked off its seventh edition in Dubai on Saturday, February 7.
First Lieutenant Yasser Al Zarouni, Manager of the Dubai Police SWAT Team, confirmed that participation in the UAE SWAT Challenge has evolved into a global platform for exchanging expertise and engaging directly with elite international teams.
Recommended For YouLast month, Dubai Police announced cash prizes of over Dh30,000 for the best video made by residents during the UAE SWAT Challenge. The new SWAT Clip Award is open to UAE residents and encourages creative coverage of the event, especially from students. The best video will win $10,000 (about Dh36,700), and more prizes for second and third place will be announced soon.

What is the UAE SWAT Challenge?
It is an international tactical competition that brings together elite police and special response teams from around the world. It is organised by the Ministry of Interior and hosted by Dubai Police.
The challenge has two main goals:
- Professional excellence, giving tactical teams a chance to test and sharpen their skills in realistic scenarios.
International cooperation, where teams share experiences, best practices, and learn from one another in a professional environment.
When and where it is held?
It is set to take place from February 7 to February 11 at Dubai SWAT Training Facility.
Who participates in it?
Elite SWAT and police teams from around the world. Teams from over 40 countries will take part this year.
What are UAE SWAT Challenge's main events?
Teams go through five main challenges:
- The assault challenge
Hostage rescue Officer rescue
The tower challenge The obstacle course
What is the prize pool?
Across the event, teams are competing for a total prize pool of $260,000, which adds to the intensity.
