Kyiv Receives 177 Generators From EU
“Kyiv has received the first batch of 177 generators from the European Union, including 135 units with a capacity of 20 kW and 42 units of 22 kW. The city plans to allocate them primarily for connection to individual heating points in residential buildings where possible,” Klitschko said.
The mayor noted that the generators were provided from the EU's strategic civil protection reserve rescEU through the Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC) under the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO). Deliveries from the rescEU reserve are fully financed by the EU and coordinated by the European Commission.
