Kuwait University Holds Nat'l Celebrations

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 4 (KUNA) -- Kuwait University on Wednesday held its annual celebration marking the 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day under the slogan "Our Beloved Country, a Symbol of Pride and a Foundation of Knowledge" at Sabah Al-Salem University City.
University Director Dr. Dina Al-Mailam extended congratulation to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and the Kuwaiti people, saying the occasion reflects deep pride, belonging and national unity.
She noted the university's keenness to organize such celebrations to reaffirm its national role, recall the country's history, and renew loyalty and responsibility toward Kuwait and its future.
Kuwait University is a leading academic institution, she reaffirmed, representing a cornerstone of the country's development drive by providing graduates a scientific and practical skills aligned with labor market needs, in line with Kuwait Vision 2035.
The two-day celebration features participation from colleges and university centers, as well as various public and private sector entities. (end)
