(MENAFN) Türkiye’s high-tech exports reached $9.9 billion in 2025, with aerospace vehicles contributing $4 billion, according to data from the national statistical bureau, TurkStat.

High-tech exports have steadily increased over the past few years, rising from $6.4 billion in 2021 to $7.4 billion in 2022, $9.1 billion in 2023, dipping slightly to $8.8 billion in 2024, and returning to $9.1 billion in 2025. This represents a 53.7% increase compared with 2021 levels.

Among high-tech products, aircraft and spacecraft manufacturing was the top export category, totaling just over $4 billion. It was followed by computers, electronics, and optical products at $3.3 billion, and basic pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical supplies at $2.5 billion.

Türkiye’s medium-high-tech exports also grew strongly, surging 10.6% year-on-year to exceed $102 billion in 2025. Within this segment, motor vehicles led with $38.9 billion in exports, followed by electrical equipment manufacturing at $19.8 billion, machinery and equipment not classified elsewhere at $18.57 million, and chemicals and chemical products at $18.54 million.

In total, Türkiye’s combined medium-high and high-tech exports reached $112 billion in 2025, with manufacturing industry exports accounting for 43.5% of the total, up from 36.4% in 2021 and steadily rising each year since.

The data highlights the critical role of the aerospace sector in driving Türkiye’s high-tech export growth, underscoring the country’s growing presence in advanced manufacturing and innovation.
