Dr Chris Parker is Senior Lecturer in UX Design at Loughborough University and Programme Leader for the MSc in User Experience Design. Chartered Human Factors Specialist (C) and Senior Fellow of Advance HE, his work bridges design, ergonomics and digital experience. His research spans fashion e-commerce, augmented/virtual reality and the human interaction with autonomous and future flight systems.
Chris leads the CoFFEE project (Co-Creation of Future Flight Ecosystems and Enterprise) and has secured UKRI funding since 2018. He briefs external partners on emerging safety and policy issues, and regularly contributes internationally through invited lectures and keynotes. His publication record includes work in Ergonomics and the International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management, alongside sector-facing outputs that inform pedagogy and practice.
Beyond academia, he hosts the UX Usability Podcast (30k listeners) and runs a design skills YouTube channel with over two million views, using both to translate research for practitioners and the public.
