Ukraine's Agricultural Production Down 6.8% In 2025 State Statistics Service
By year-end, the agricultural production index in Ukraine stood at 93.2% of the 2024 level. Specifically, crop production amounted to 92.5% of the previous year's figure, while livestock production reached 95.9%.
A slight increase in agricultural output was recorded in only two regions – Chernihiv region (+4.1%) and Sumy region (+0.5%).
All other regions showed negative dynamics. The sharpest declines were observed in Donetsk (-44.7%), Kherson (-33.7%), and Zaporizhzhia (-21.6%) regions.

Under a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, compensation is provided for part of the insurance premiums paid – up to 60% of the premium cost for producers operating in frontline communities, and up to 45% for other agricultural producers.
