Qatar Participates In 11Th Meeting Of Deputies Of Arab Finance Ministries
Abu Dhabi, UAE: The State of Qatar participated in the 11th meeting of their Excellencies Deputies of Arab Finance Ministries, organized by the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) over two days in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
The event featured the participation of experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, HE Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Mannai, who headed the participating delegation.
The meeting's agenda features several topics of importance to Arab countries, including opportunities for artificial intelligence in fiscal policy and public finance, and sustainable financing for achieving sustainable infrastructure. Participants also discussed the experiences of Arab countries in strengthening social safety nets, in addition to preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Council of Arab Finance Ministers.
