Germany Allocates Additional EUR 60M For Ukraine's Energy Support

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was reported by the German Federal Foreign Office on the social network X, according to Ukrinform.

“We stand with Ukraine. Putin's brutal attacks are deliberately targeting the civilian population and the energy infrastructure. That is why Germany has mobilized an additional EUR 60 million – for heat, protection, heating systems, and hot water supply for the people in Ukraine,” the post reads.

The announcement of Germany's new winter and energy support for Ukraine was welcomed by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

“This assistance will help keep our people warm and protected by strengthening heating and heat supply systems – with a particular focus on frontline regions,” Sybiha stated.
