Azizi Developments' Burj Azizi Global University Exposure Program To Continue Into 2026, Expanding Global Reach And Academic Engagement
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 2025: Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, is advancing its Burj Azizi Global University Exposure Program, aimed at sharing Dubai's engineering and architectural expertise with the next generation of global talent. Launched in January 2025 as a four-year initiative running through the construction of Burj Azizi, the program has, to date, welcomed delegations from nine universities across eight countries, hosting a total of 90 participants, comprising 72 students and 18 faculty members from leading academic institutions worldwide. Participating universities have spanned key global education hubs, including The American University in Cairo (Egypt), BITS Pilani (India), the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), Universiti Malaya (Malaysia), the National University of Singapore (Singapore), Seoul National University (South Korea), Middlesex University London (United Kingdom), and The University of Tulsa and Rochester Institute of Technology (United States). Through a curated series of expert-led lectures, technical briefings, and guided site visits, participants gain first-hand exposure to the planning and execution of one of the world's most ambitious high-rise developments. Visits focus on core disciplines such as structural and civil engineering, architectural design, MEP planning, interior design, construction management, and advanced building technologies, offering students a practical understanding of large-scale, real-world project delivery. Building on its strong momentum, the Burj Azizi Global University Exposure Program will welcome five additional universities over the next five months, representing institutions from Turkey, Jordan, Portugal, Italy, and China. These upcoming cohorts are expected to bring a further 40 students and 10 faculty members to Dubai. By the completion of Burj Azizi, Azizi Developments aims to host over 100 universities from around the world, engaging approximately 800 students and 200 faculty members, underscoring the program's long-term vision and global ambition. Commenting on the program's continuation, Mr. Farhad Azizi, Group CEO of Azizi Group, said:“Through the Burj Azizi Global University Exposure Program, we share Dubai's achievements in engineering, architecture, and innovation with future leaders from around the world. The initiative is built on the value of knowledge transfer and aims to inspire young minds by giving them exposure to projects that push the boundaries of construction and design. As Burj Azizi continues to rise, we look forward to welcoming prestigious academic institutions from all regions and contributing to global education and collaboration.” Scheduled for completion by 2029, the 725-meter high, 140 story tower offers an exquisite mix of residential, hotel, retail and entertainment spaces. An ultra-luxury mall, home to most high-end fashion brands, will occupy the retail section. The residential section will include luxurious one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. For every 20 floors of residences, a dedicated amenity floor is planned, consisting of swimming pools with sauna and steam room, a fully fitted gym and yoga center, a spa, a games room including billiards, chess and ping-pong, a business center, a kids' play area, a cinema, a restaurant and coffee shop, and a supermarket. Moving upward, the extravagant apartments are topped by ultra-luxury penthouses, ranging from one to five-bedroom units and enjoying exclusive amenity access. Separate lobbies will serve the residences and penthouses. Up even higher along this vertical world is an all-suite seven-star hotel, set to become a major attraction that will take Dubai's standards of luxury and opulence to new heights. Inspired by seven cultural themes – Arabic, Chinese, Persian, Indian, Turkish, French and Russian – the hotel will offer a new standard in comfort and hospitality, including culturally styled restaurants for each cultural theme. An authentic Emirati restaurant will be among the hotel's signature offerings, complemented by a luxury ballroom and an exclusive beach club. Among the world records set by Burj Azizi will be the highest observation deck on level 130, the highest hotel lobby on level 111, the highest nightclub on level 126, the highest restaurant on level 122, and the highest hotel room on level 118. At the top, the building will also house a special museum that will showcase the chronology of the structure's evolution, recognizing personalities involved through multimedia exhibits, including photos, videos and graphics. Azizi Developments' Sales Gallery can be visited on the 13th floor of the Conrad Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road.
