Erika Kirk Hits Back At People Celebrating Charlie Kirk's Death: 'Tell That To My 3-Year-Old Daughter' - Watch Video

(MENAFN- Live Mint) Erika Kirk, the wife on slain conservative figure Charlie Kirk, recent spoke out about how many people across the US justified her husband's assassination, saying that the activist "deserved" to die for his controversial views.

In an interview with CBS, Kirk's bereaved widow hit out at those justifying her husband's death saying, "You're sick. He's a human being. You think he deserved that? Tell that to my 3-year-old daughter."

"You want to watch in hi-res the video of my husband being murdered... and laugh and say that he deserved it? There's something very sick in your soul and I pray that God saves you," a teary-eyed Erika told CBS in a special titled 'A Town Hall with Erika Kirk'.

"...I pray because that is what is so wrong: the internet and this world has dehumanized us," Erika further said.

Erika's comments to CBS, which came days after the posthumous release of Kirk's last book Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life, echo what she had said during her husband's memorial service, where she very notably forgave the shooter.

“My husband, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life. That man, that young man – I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and it is what Charlie would do,” Erika had said in September.
