Jean-Sébastien Blouin

Dr. Blouin is a Professor in the School of Kinesiology (University of British Columbia) and co-director of the UBC Balance and Falls Research Centre. The UBC Balance and Falls Research Centre brings together international research, clinical, and policy experts on sensorimotor control of standing balance and fall prevention. His NSERC-funded program focuses on sensorimotor processing to understand how the brain controls and senses movement. He has extensive with human-in-the-loop robotic and neural stimulation tools to decouple motor and sensory inputs, particularly in the context of standing balance and locomotion.
