EV Sales In Top Gear In November, Shows FADA Data

(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Dec 9 (KNN) Most automakers saw their electric vehicle sales surging in the month of November 2025 on the back of robust demand post GST rate cut.

As per data released by Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) on Tuesday, electric vehicle sales across various categories recorded a sharp increase year-on-year in November.

Electric passenger vehicle sales grew nearly 62% year-on-year to 14,850 units in November 2025 as compared to 9,174 units in the same month last year. Among the companies which saw impressive sales during this period included Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, JSW MG Motor, Mahindra & Mahindra and Kia India.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles' total sales rose 38.30% year-on-year to 6,153 units in November. JSW MG Motor sales increased 10.34% year-on-year in November this year to 3,693 units.

In the two-wheeler category, the companies which registered stellar performance included TVS Motor, Ather Energy, Hero MotoCorp and Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions.

Overall electric two-wheeler sales, however, were in red in November this year with the key segment witnessing a 2.51% year-on-year decline in retail sales to 1,16,982 units.

Electric three-wheeler sales rose 32% year-on-year in November to 83,683 units with Mahindra Group leading the pack.

Mahindra group sold a total of 10,779 electric three-wheelers in the month of November this year, registering 51% year-on-year growth.

Electric commercial vehicle retail posted a stellar 202% jump in domestic sales during November this year on the back of low base. The total sales in this segment stood at 1,698 in November 2025 as against 561 in November 2024.

As per FADA data, Tata Motors, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, Euler Motor and Pinnacle Mobility Solutions were among the companies which saw significant rise in sales in the electric commercial vehicle category during November this year.
