Book Brings Together Works By Palestinian Children

Book cover: Accounts of children's experiences in the face of the conflict in their territory
According to a statement released by the publishing collective and the Tamer Institute, this is the third book in a series documenting Palestinian children's experiences with the conflict in the Gaza Strip. The texts now published were written in 2024 during gatherings with writers and visual artists, where the young participants shared their feelings and impressions amid the destruction of their territory. From these encounters, the children were invited to express themselves through literary texts.
The written pieces were later presented to children in libraries in Hebron and Jerusalem, who completed the project with their drawings. The first edition of the book was published earlier this year in Arabic and English.
The goal of the Brazilian edition is to introduce the work of the Tamer Institute and to present the perspectives of children in Gaza in the face of war. The collective Editoras pela Palestina is composed of Selo Emília, Tabla, Palavras Educação, Barbatana, Bazar do Tempo, Bináh, Boitempo, Boitatá, Casa de Letras, Caixote, Lumiar, Padaria de Livros, Peirópolis, Pó de Estrelas, Quelônio, Solisluna, Oh!, and WMF Martins Fontes.
