BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS - Journalist Anne Steinbach and creative director and copywriter Clemens Sehi have launched Out of Office Office, an independent boutique agency that aims to rethink PR, marketing, and brand storytelling in the international travel industry.
The founders bring extensive experience in journalism, advertising, and tourism and aim to help brands create communication that truly stems from lived experience.
“We've developed advertising campaigns, written travel reports, and published guidebooks – but the best ideas never come from behind a desk,” said Steinbach.“Out of Office Office is about going out, experiencing, understanding and turning that into communication that genuinely connects.”
"The agency focuses on authentic stories that resonate because they have been lived, not constructed.“We help travel brands tell stories that stick,” added Sehi.“Our work is guided by experience, curiosity, and the belief that authenticity is the strongest currency in marketing."
Steinbach is a journalist, author, and photographer, with over ten years in international tourism and author of numerous travel books. Sehi is a creative director and copywriter who started his career at some of Europe's most prestigious agencies – including Jung von Matt, Scholz & Friends, and Serviceplan – and has led campaigns for Google, BMW, visitBerlin, Volkswagen, Siemens, and Vodafone.
Steinbach and Sehi understand the world because they have traveled it themselves, they said. Their reports and campaigns have taken them to over 110, often unconventional countries – from Pakistan to East Timor and Sierra Leone – and to projects for clients such as Tourism Malawi, Tourism Bulgaria, GetYourGuide, and Star Alliance. They also run a German-language travel blog called Travellers Archive.
At Out of Office Office, Steinbach and Sehi bring all this expertise together under one roof. The independent boutique agency works at the intersection of creative, marketing, and communication – deliberately without a fixed office. The team works wherever inspiration strikes– on location with destinations, hotels, and travel brands – bringing real-world experiences directly into brand communication. The agency focuses on clients who want more than just pretty pictures, it said in a statement.
Out of Office Office supports international clients by managing their PR, social media, creative brand strategy, and global photo and video production for the German-speaking market (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) – backed by a strong network of creative and travel experts delivering each campaign with impact, authenticity, and visual power.
