A 52-year-old quality control supervisor from Kerala, Rajan, has been living in Saudi Arabia for 30 years with his family, and he has been a loyal Big Ticket customer for 15 years. What began as a casual recommendation from friends gradually became a tradition, both individually and as part of a syndicate of 16 close companions.

Thrilled with his win, Rajan said,“I first heard about Big Ticket through my friends 15 years ago. I used to watch the live draws regularly and follow the winners' stories in the news, which inspired me to try my luck.

“This winning ticket was purchased with my group. When I received the winning call, the happiness and surprise were overwhelming. All I could think about was how my friends and their families would react; it is truly a dream come true for all of us.

“My plan is to divide the prize equally among my friends. With my share, I hope to give back by supporting a charity and helping those in need, and I will set aside a small portion for something special for my family.”

Big Ticket luxury car winner

Big Ticket also continued its popular Dream Car series - a Maserati Grecale was won during Wednesday's draw by Bangladeshi expat Mohammed Rubel Siddque Ahmed (ticket number: 020002), who lives in Abu Dhabi and purchased his entry on November 17.

Dh100,000 Big Ticket winners

In addition to the grand prize, ten lucky winners each received Dh100,000 in consolation prizes. They are Mohammad Kaimullah Shekh Mohammad Nasir, an Indian expat living in Dubai; Mohammad Monsor Azad Fazlul Karim, a Bangladeshi expat from Ras Al Khaimah; Antonio Plasabas, a Filipino expat residing in Abu Dhabi; Lin Zhao, a Chinese expat in Dubai; Tinto Jesmon, an Indian expat from Ajman; Amru Miah Ashik Miah, a Bangladeshi expat living in Abu Dhabi; Mohammed Ariful Islam Mohammed Jafar, a Bangladeshi resident of Ajman; Yahia Almasri, a Canadian expat in Dubai; Sunil Kumar, an Indian expat from Dubai; and Rakesh Kumar Kodwani, also an Indian expat residing in Dubai.

During the November 3 draw, Big Ticket Abu Dhabi announced the jackpot winner, an Indian expat who claimed a whopping Dh25 million. Saravanan Venkatachalam, an Indian expat living in Abu Dhabi, won Dh25 million in October. And on Wednesday, Saravanan was present on the sets of Big Ticket to pull out the jackpot winner's ticket.
