Intelligence experts estimate that Russia has sustained approximately 382,000 casualties (killed and wounded) since the beginning of 2025. The total number of Russian militray losses since the start of the full-scale invasion is estimated by the UK Ministry of Defence at around 1,168,000 personnel.

Analysts, referencing data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, noted that the average daily Russian casualty rate in November was 1,033 personnel, up from 1,008 in October, representing the third consecutive monthly increase.

At the same time, UK intelligence noted that Russia's average daily casualty rates from August to November 2025 were the four lowest monthly average rates reported since April 2024.

According to analysts, the decrease in the monthly rate of Russian losses occurs against the backdrop of maintaining a high tempo of combat operations across the frontline.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, since the beginning of 2025, Russian forces have lost over 383,000 soldiers in the war against Ukraine, roughly equivalent to 32 divisions - or about three divisions per month.
