Winter Application Guidelines for SENGU Inorganic Powder Art Coatings

SENGU Inorganic Powder Art Coatings are a novel, economical, and eco-friendly decorative material. They offer easy application-just mix with water and use directly. This product eliminates the need for grinding, applying putty, or priming, saving both labor and materials. It is mold-proof, water-resistant, scrub-resistant, and aging-resistant.

During winter application, the ambient temperature must be maintained at 5°C (41°F) or higher.

Avoid application in conditions such as strong winds, fog, haze, high humidity, rain, or snow, especially for exterior projects.

The recommended application window in winter is between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

During winter application:

Mix on-demand. Prepare the material for immediate use to prevent freezing from prolonged storage. Any mixture that has frozen must be discarded and cannot be reused, even after thawing.

Control water addition. Do not exceed the recommended water ratio, as this is crucial for maintaining an adequate drying speed.

Apply thin, multiple coats on substrates with poor flatness. This practice helps prevent issues with the coating's drying rate.

Allow proper drying. Ensure each applied coat is fully dry before proceeding with the next step in the process.

For interior work during winter:

Keep windows and doors closed during application to prevent drafts and temperature differentials, which can compromise coating quality. If closing them is not feasible, schedule work to avoid windy, rainy, or snowy conditions.

Plan the application sequence based on weather conditions and shield any ventilation openings from direct airflow onto the wet coating.
