QF's Academyati Opens Enrolment For Its Newly Launched High School

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Academyati, part of Qatar Foundation's (QF) Pre-University Education, has opened enrolment for its new high school stage, a step that reflects its ongoing vision to reimagine education and provide an innovative learning model that enables students to learn in deeper, more connected, real-world ways.

Since its establishment in 2018, Academyati has served as a pioneering educational model in Qatar, applying a progressive learning approach that places students at the centre of the educational process while fostering curiosity, creativity, and self-directed learning.

Academyati is currently enroling students in Grade 9 under the Ministry of Education and Higher Education curriculum and will expand next year to include Grade 10, as part of a phased plan to offer a comprehensive learning experience across all secondary levels. Enrolment for Grade 9 students will begin in January 2026, with selected admission opportunities available for Grades 9 and 10 for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Elizabeth Kennedy, director of Academyati, said:“Our students represent a new generation of learners who combine academic excellence with practical awareness, drawing strength from a values-based framework that guides their educational journey.

“We strive to create a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, social responsibility, and empowers students to learn for life.”

Kennedy noted that Academyati students have engaged in a wide range of experiential learning opportunities across QF's diverse and integrated ecosystem combining knowledge with practice. These include stable management and horse riding at QF member Al Shaqab, learning the art of debate in collaboration with QF-founded QatarDebate, and participating in the Chefs Academy, where they developed culinary skills.

“Students also took part in research visits to Qatar National Library, enroled in digital creativity courses using Adobe programmes, and showcased their innovations during the QF Hackathon 2025. They also participated in the 'Youth Studio' session as part of the WISE 12 Summit,” Kennedy added.

“The high school at Academyati offers a blend of academic innovation and Advanced Placement courses, designed to prepare students both academically and personally to achieve their future goals in Qatar and beyond.

“The academic model at Academyati is based on a competency-driven approach that provides students with a flexible and integrated schedule, allowing them greater space to explore and deepen their interests while maintaining the highest standards of academic rigour.”

Since its establishment, Academyati has been committed to fostering an educational approach grounded in innovation and critical thinking, as part of a pioneering movement redefining education in Qatar. The school invites parents and prospective students to attend its High School Open Day on January 8, from 2.15pm to 3.15pm, to learn more about the Academyati model and explore the learning experience firsthand.
