Aadhaar Authentication Transactions Reach 231 Crore In November 2025, Marking 8.5% Yoy Growth

(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Dec 2 (KNN) The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has said that Aadhaar holders executed 231 crore authentication transactions in November 2025, marking an 8.47 per cent increase compared to the same month last year.

This figure is the highest recorded in any month of the current fiscal year, up from 219.51 crore transactions in October, reflecting the growing adoption of Aadhaar and its role in facilitating digital services and welfare delivery across the country.

Face authentication continues to gain traction, particularly among pensioners generating Digital Life Certificates (DLCs). Nearly 60 per cent of DLCs in November were completed using Aadhaar's AI-based face authentication, which functions across Android and iOS devices.

A total of 28.29 crore face authentication transactions were executed during the month, compared with 12.04 crore in November 2024, highlighting the increasing preference for secure and convenient biometric verification.

E-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) transactions also saw significant growth, rising over 24 per cent year-on-year to reach 47.19 crore in November 2025.

The Aadhaar e-KYC service continues to streamline customer onboarding and improve ease of doing business across banking and non-banking financial sectors, further supporting the expansion of India's digital economy.
