Contracts Signed For 2 Road Projects In Parwan
CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) says contracts for two road construction projects in central Parwan province, worth more than 983 million afghanis, have been signed.
On his X handle, MoPW spokesman Mohammad Ashraf Haqshenas wrote that as part of the Islamic Emirate's reconstruction and infrastructure development programs, the ministry has signed two major contracts with road construction companies.
He said the first project involved the construction of a 20-kilometer road in Koh-Safi district, costing more than 641 million afghanis.
The second project covers the completion of remaining work on the extended road from Bagram's junction to Jabal-us-Siraj district, with a cost of over 342 million afghanis.
Haqshenas added that practical work on both projects will begin soon.
