Profile Articles Activity

I did my undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, before coming down to UCL for an MA in Translation Theory and Practice. I stayed on for my doctorate and was the first to be awarded a PhD in Creative Critical Writing from UCL. After that I took up a role as Research Associate in the School of English at Newcastle University, followed by a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship in the Faculty of English at the University of Cambridge. Before taking up my current position, I was a Research Associate in the Literary and Artistic Archive at The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. Over the years, I have also worked as a translator (including of August Strindberg's One-Act Plays) and subtitler of a random variety of television programmes.
