Pre-Qualifying for the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour began in August, with Stage One held at 12 venue sites. Thomas, as a 2025 tour card-holder, was exempt from Pre-Qualifying.
Speaking to Khaleej Times, Thomas said:“I am on my way to Savannah this week, and I am excited about what lies ahead. I have played there a couple of times in tournament play, namely at last year's Stage Two Qualifying as well as a Korn Ferry Tour event.
“I have always played well around the course, so fingers crossed I can keep that run going. I am feeling good with my game and strong physically and mentally after a break from Stage One Qualifying.
“I cannot wait to get started,” Thomas added.“The weather looks mixed, predicted to be cold and windy – but it is the same for everyone, and, as with all qualifying, I just want to play my best and hopefully get through this week.”
At the Final Stage, the top five finishers earn full PGA Tour cards for the following year, while the next 40 players and ties receive full Korn Ferry Tour membership for 2026.
Of Indian descent, Thomas represents Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and is supported by sponsors Hero, Wilson, Cadillac, and Dubai Basketball.
