Just two weeks after the thrilling finale of the 2025 DP World Tour Championship, Jumeirah Golf Estates transformed into a hub of friendly competition as 108 members and their guests teed off at the Earth Course for the November edition of the Jumeirah Pairs Tournament.

The tournament was played in a Pairs Scramble Stableford format, with men competing from the Composite Tees and women from the Forward Tees, adding an extra layer of challenge for all.

Competition was fierce, with the top twelve pairs separated by a mere two strokes. After a gripping back-nine countback, Stuart Murray and Adam James claimed the overall title, finishing nine under-par, net 63.

"The Earth Course played exceptionally well today,” said Murray after the round.“Kudos to the Agronomy Team here at Jumeirah Golf Estates, who have worked tirelessly to maintain the course's championship-standard conditions. It makes me incredibly proud to be a Member of this club."

In the Gross Division, it was a heartwarming story of family triumph as father-son duo Neil and Ryder Eatson emerged victorious on a countback, posting seven under-par, 65.

Neil shared his excitement, saying, "We got off to a fantastic start with a birdie and an eagle early on, and we maintained that momentum throughout. Playing with my son Ryder made it even more special - what a pleasure to secure the gross win on the Earth Course."

The Net Division runner-up spot went to James Finnigan and David Marshall, who narrowly edged out Nicholas Whiteford and Christopher Incledon on a countback, with both pairs finishing eight under-par, net 64.

The day wrapped up in style with a buffet lunch and prize presentation at Tap and Grill, celebrating another successful edition of this popular monthly event.

Cameron McWhinnie, Assistant Golf Services Manager, said on behalf of the Golf Operations Team: "We sincerely hope you enjoyed playing the Earth Course today. It remains in outstanding condition, just two weeks after Matthew Fitzpatrick's victory at the DP World Tour Championship. It's fantastic to see so many members out here, taking on the course that recently hosted the global stage."
