Rolear Algarve Classic: Top Pros And Rising Stars Shine In MENA Golf Tour Week 2
The stage is set for the second stop of the 2025–26 MENA Golf Tour, as the players head south from Lisbon to the Algarve for this week's $100,000 Rolear Algarve Classic.
The 54-hole championship will be played from 2nd to 4th December 2025 at the acclaimed Amendoeira Golf Course, one of Portugal's most picturesque and challenging venues.

The lineup features a strong mix of returning champions, newly minted tour members, and talented Q School graduates eager to make their mark.
Leading the field is last week's champion, Ludovico Addabbo from Italy, who arrives in the Algarve full of confidence after a dominant performance at the Aroeira Challenge at PGA Aroeira. Addabbo clinched the season opener with rounds of 66, 67, and 65 for a 54-hole total of 18-under-par, 198, earning Category 1 status on the MENA Golf Tour along with a two-year exemption.
“Last week's win gave my confidence a little boost, but I already knew that my game was in shape,” said Addabbo.“It's been a very big relief after a long time playing well without big results, and I'm excited for this week's event to try to keep the momentum going.
'I played the O'Connor Course today, and it's long, pretty wide open. The greens are big and hilly, so you have to manage your irons well and stay in a good spot because if you miss the side of the green, you can have very long putts.'”
Also confirmed to compete are 37 qualifiers from the recent MENA Golf Tour Q School held at Troia Golf Club, including Q School champion Chris Wood from England. The event will also feature invited players from the Portuguese Golf Federation and the PGA Tour.
Among the notable invites is the UAE's Ahmad Skaik, who continues to adapt quickly after turning professional just last week. Skaik is embracing the challenge of contrasting course styles on the Portugal swing.
“It's a completely different type of course from last week - it was a tight golf course, this one has wider fairways,” said Skaik.“It's more reminiscent of courses in Dubai. Every time I travel, I try to learn something new.
“It doesn't matter what tournament it is, whether it's a big event or a small event, you always learn something, and that is what is most important at the end of the day.”
Following the Algarve, the MENA Golf Tour will pause for a seasonal break before heading to Egypt for four events in January and February, then moving on to Morocco, where a mid-season Q-Sprint scheduled for 22nd to 23rd February will give aspiring players another chance to join the Tour or improve their playing category.
The MENA Golf Tour continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the most accessible and progressive professional pathways in the region. Offering Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) points, guaranteed prize funds, and 48-hour payout turnaround, the tour provides a credible competitive platform for both seasoned professionals and emerging amateurs.
