Bihar Resident Found Dead In North Kashmir

Srinagar- A labourer was found dead inside his room at the Industries Estate Chotipora in Handwara area of North Kashmir's Kupwara district on Monday, triggering an investigation by police.

The deceased has been identified as Phool Mohammad, son of Sulaiman Miya, aged about 65 years, and a native of Bihar. He was working at the Industries Estate in Handwara and was staying in worker accommodation at the site, reported news agency KNT.

Sources said fellow workers noticed that he did not report for work and later found him lying motionless inside his room. The matter was immediately reported to police, following which a team reached the spot and took possession of the body.
