Ending months of speculation, Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu-best known for her roles in the Tamil movies 'Super Deluxe', 'Kaththi' and 'Theri' and the Telugu flicks 'Rangasthalam', 'Attarintiki Daredi', among others-got married to director Raj Nidimoru.

Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya, the son of Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni. Their marriage ended in 2021. Chaitanya eventually got married to actress Sobhita Dhulipala late last year. Nidimoru too separated from his wife Shhyamali De in 2022.

Samantha and Raj were reportedly in a relationship since 2024, with the former featuring pictures of them together on her Instagram, including those of a visit to Detroit for a function.

All along, the duo didn't make their relationship official and remained tight-lipped about it.

Samantha and Raj have collaborated on several projects together. She starred in a pivotal role in the second season of the web series The Family Man, co-created by Raj. She played the lead in the Indian adaptation of Prime Video's action drama series Citadel, named Citadel: Honey Bunny, co-directed by Raj.

The wedding, Screen magazine quoted a source as saying, was a low-key affair and was attended by about 30 guests.
