Al-Mannai Brace Keeps Al Shamal In Second Al Arabi Win Again


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A Mohamed al-Mannai brace saw Al Shamal beat Al Shahania 4-0 while Al Arabi continued their winning streak humbling Qatar SC 5-1 in the Qatar Stars League (QSL) Sunday results meant that Al Shamal remain second in the standings with 21 points to their credit while Al Arabi moved into sixth with 16 points.
Qatar SC slipped to fifth with 17 points and Al Shahania at the bottom in twelfth with 7 points. Al Gharafa are at the top with 25 points the Al Shamal Stadium, Al Mannai's two quick-fire goals (61st and 66th minutes) were preceded by Omar Ali's (12th minute) and Baghdad Bounedjah's (40th minute) as the hosts completely dominated the game, forcing Al Shahania to defend for most part of the high-intensity blade-->

At the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium, Al Arabi continued their golden run as they drubbed Qatar SC 5-1 Sunday.
The goal-scorers for Al Arabi were Pablo Sarabia (27th and 40th minutes), Player of the Match – Michael Olunga (34th and 50th minutes), and Yazan al-Naimat (81st minute).
