Bikesuv Collision In Kupwara Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

Srinagar- A 25-year-old youth died and two others sustained injuries in a road accident in Bumhama area of North Kashmir's Kupwara district on Sunday evening.

Officials said that the fatal collision between a motorcycle and an SUV (Mahindra XUV700), resulted in death of Faizan Ahmad Peer (25), son of Mohammed Ashraf Peer, a resident of Chek Drugmulla, reported news agency GNS.

The injured include Asrar Ahmad Shah, son of Mohammed Shafi Shah, and Manzoor Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar, both residents of Chek Drugmulla. They were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara for treatment, from where Asrar Ahmad Shah was referred to a Srinagar-based hospital for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and initiated further investigation into the incident.
