Gemini 3 Sets New Benchmark in Expanding AI Competition

(MENAFN) Google’s forthcoming large language model (LLM) for artificial intelligence, Gemini 3, has rekindled the competitive AI landscape by demonstrating superior capabilities in independent evaluations, outperforming ChatGPT.

The company is unveiling an enhanced version of its generative AI framework. Gemini — which already attracts 650 million monthly users — is being refined to execute tasks such as programming, image interpretation, and creative content production with fewer user instructions.

In the Humanity’s Last Exam assessment, Gemini 3 attained a record-breaking result of 37.5%, while ChatGPT 5.1 reached 26.5%.

With the introduction of Deep Think mode, Gemini 3 advances its analytical reasoning, raising its score to 41% in the Humanity’s Last Exam. In comparison, ChatGPT-5 Pro received 30.7%.

The updated model also demonstrated exceptional performance in intensive reasoning tasks, securing 93.8% on the GPQA Diamond examination and 45.1% on the ARC-AGI-2 benchmark.

Despite its technical progress, Gemini has not yet overtaken ChatGPT in terms of visibility or overall market influence.

ChatGPT continues to maintain a notable lead over rival AI systems in monthly user visits, based on metrics from the Semrush platform.

Meanwhile, Google’s search engine remained the dominant force in global web traffic with 101 billion visits, followed by YouTube with 47 billion, Facebook with 10 billion, Instagram with 5.7 billion, and ChatGPT with 5.2 billion.
