"During the clearing of rubble on Stusa Street, rescuers discovered the body of a woman," Danilin said.
According to him, 250 personnel and about 50 units of various equipment are involved in the search and rescue operations.
The complexity of the work is due to the small debris, which must be cleared almost manually. Rescuers are using hand tools and light mechanization equipment to provide aid to victims as quickly as possible, Danilin added.
Serhii Ziubanenko, head of the Ternopil Regional Police, clarified that the body of a 41-year-old resident of the building was found. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
